We are looking for friendly, motivated crew members to work our Saturday Farmer’s Markets. If you enjoy the farmer’s market atmosphere, and are looking for an extra part-time gig, this could be a great fit for you.

Cashier at Nelson Farmers Market Cooperative

• Location: Nelson Farmers Market Cooperative, Nellysford VA. Weekly Farmers Market, Saturday mornings May-October.

• Schedule and start date: Immediate start. Shift hours will be 7:15am-12:45pm (setup, market hours, breakdown)

• About this position: Front Desk Cashier. Do you like engaging with all sorts of people? The Front Desk Cashier will take sandwich orders, manage the Square payments and the cashbox, and charm our customers with their sparkling personality. You’ll get to know Oakshire Farm and our products while you train, so that you can answer any customer questions with confidence. You’ll arrive 45 minutes before market starts to set up the bakery case and front desk, and stay 45 minutes after closing to clean up with the crew. No restaurant experience is necessary, we will provide paid training during your first shifts. Includes a free breakfast and lunch from our menu.
